Dominic Paris is TRANSACTSMART's principle consultant for Fleet and Transportation Management

Dominic has extensive experience in the Education, Logistics, Transport, and Fleet Management, Tendering and Leasing and Contracts Management fields. As transport manager at SABC, he transformed the Transport Department into a well established and successful service provider to internal and external customers nationally.

He was also responsible for the establishment of a fully-fledged Travel Agency for the SABC. Notable was his successs in identifying and negotiating innovative fleet financial models resulting in considerable savings to the corporation.

As contracts manager for one of the major vehicle leasing companies in South Africa, he project managed and completed numerous tenders that resulted in new business and contributed collectively a multi-million rand revenue to his company. He also played a key role in the customer relations of the major customer, always ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Other achievements include:

• assisting with the research and writing of the white paper on the Transformation of the Public Sector, 
• serving as a Manager of a FET college, research and writing numerous policy and procedure documents,
• implementing a customer excellence program 
• and implementing a tender tracking database

Dominic holds a B.A. Hons, B.Ed, a Management Development Program and a Strategic Logistics Management Diploma. In addition, he has completed training courses in Transportation, Tendering, Project Management and Leadership
